With its rich historic heritage and worldwide recognised knowhow, the House comes to reinforce the Comité Colbert in its key mission of making the voice of French luxury since 1954.

The co-option of a new member within the committee relies on five criteria: high quality standards, creativity, ethical conduct, imagination and international ambition of the house.

Thanks to the constant care of the vineyards, a meticulous respect of the important principles that have always guided our House, and a commitment of our entire team in spreading Charles Heidsieck’s philosophy worldwide, from soil to the flute, our House can henceforth be part of the proud representatives of this French way of life.

“The entry of the Charles Heidsieck House in the narrow circle of the Comité Colbert is for us the recognition of a unique knowhow within an emblematic region: the Champagne. Also the recognition of the singular journey of Charles Camille Heidsieck, its founder. Finally, the recognition of an ability to resist to historical hazards and to come back to the forefront since the EPI Group took over the House in 2011.We are collectively proud of our admittance to the committee and honoured to take our part of responsibility in the defence and the promotion of the French way of living abroad.” Stephen Leroux, Managing Director of the Charles Heidsieck House.

“Charles Heidsieck and the generations of entrepreneurial presidents who came after him are part of those who joyfully embodied the values of the French art of living across the Atlantic. We are glad to welcome amongst the the Comité Colbert this beautiful House who shares our passion for creativity, transmission and knowhows.” Bénédicte Epinay, Delegate General for Comité Colbert.
