A refined and focused creation of the Côte des Blancs
CHARDONNAY PURITY AT ITS HIGHEST EXPRESSION
The vintage 2014 represents the House's highest expression of Blanc de Blancs.
Crafted exclusively from Chardonnay, this exceptional cuvée brings together just five villages from the Côte des Blancs - one Premier Cru and four Grands Crus: Vertus for its freshness, brightness and balance, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for its structure and chalky minerality, Oger for its citrus and white flower notes, Avize for its vibrant intensity, and Cramant for its vivacity.
TIME AS A SIGNATURE
At Charles Heidsieck, time is considered a grape variety in its own right.
For the Blanc des Millénaires 2014, the House has chosen extended lees maturation for nearly ten years, far beyond the requirements of the Champagne appellation.
Within the thousand-year-old Crayères, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015, the wine evolves slowly in ideal natural conditions, revealing the full singularity of the cuvée.
2014
The sunny month of June initiated flowering in perfect conditions, followed by a rainy July that provided enough water for the grapes to develop rapidly in a healthy environment.
After a rather cool August, a warm and dry September concentrated acidity and sugars in the berries. The 2014 vintage reveals remarkable freshness and purity for the Chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs.
"The Blanc des Millénaires 2014 reflects with intensity and elegance, the essence of Charles Heidsieck's emphasis on time."

Bright and contained
TO THE EYE
Crystal-clear and radiant, with an elegant stream of fine, precise bubbles.
ON THE NOSE
The wine reveals three successive expressions: first fresh, mineral and saline, followed by citrus and kiwi notes. True to the Charles Heidsieck style, notes of brioche, puff pastry, dried dates and dried apricot complete this aromatic profile.
ON THE PALATE
The wine unfolds with remarkable depth. A silky and caressing attack reveals the elegance and noble origins of this champagne. In harmony with the nose, the aromas combine with a voluptuous texture and refined bitters, leading to a finish marked by a beautiful sense of completeness.
Already offering an exceptional tasting experience today, the Blanc des Millénaires 2014 also stands out for its restrained power and ageing potential, remaining true to the legacy of its predecessors.
